We strive to provide our children and their parents/care providers with the most positive experience(s), both within and out of the setting. Here are a few activities that we have participated in within the past year:

Henley Rowing Museum
The children really enjoyed the trip to the museum and were taken through the exciting Wind in the Willows exhibition.

30th Anniversary Party (November 2008)
We celebrated our landmark birthday with the Mayor Brian Willis and MP John Redwood. The festivities included a competition for the best dressed teddy bear, a birthday cake, party food and the children decorated bear masks.

To remember the day, the children put their handprints on a tea towel.

The Shire Horse Centre, Maidenhead
The children had a great time looking at all the different animals and then painting pottery.  We also enjoyed a lunch followed by free play in the play areas.

Christmas Party & Nativity Play
An annual festive celebration, with a special visit by Father Christmas who brought each child a gift.

Santa’s Sleigh
Staff, children and parents participated in this great fundraising activity. They all had lots of fun and the children (especially) found Santa and his sleigh very magical!

Sponsored Bike/Scooter Race
The children were sponsored to ride their bike/scooter within the grounds of St. Crispin’s Sports Centre. Children received a certificate for participating that displayed how many laps were completed.

Red Nose Day
To support Red Nose Day we had a party for the children. They all came dressed up and we raised some funds for this good cause.

Soft Play & Bouncy Castle
On occasion, and loved by the children, the bouncy castle and soft play toys are borrowed from the leisure centre for our use.

Nature Walks
Exploration and discovery into Wokingham’s lovely parks and trails, and into the town centre.

Art Work Display in Wokingham Town Centre
Our children created a beautiful summer scene in one of the shop windows. Each child made and decorated their own flower, which was used as a photo frame with a picture of themselves in it.
