IMPORTANT CHANGES TO THE PRE-SCHOOL’S OPENING HOURS
EFFECTIVE FROM SEPTEMBER 2009
We are very pleased to inform you that the Pre-school will open 15 hours per week as of September 2009. This is in accordance with the Government’s initiative to further increase free childcare and learning.
From September 2009 the Pre-school hours will be:
Monday 9.15am - 12.15pm
Tuesday 9.15am - 12.15pm (Lunch Club session finishing at 1.00pm)
Wednesday 9.15am - 12.15pm
Thursday 9.15am - 12.15pm (Lunch Club session finishing at 1.00pm)
Friday 9.15am - 12.15pm
Please note that the 15 hours are only free of charge to those children who are attending the Pre-school the term after they have turned 3. Those children who do not fall within this category are still able to attend the extra hours, however at an increased cost per session (this will be communicated in the near future). Children under the age of 3 will continue to be able attend the Pre-school on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays only.
